We had a gale the weekend 12th thru Sunday the 15th. 45mph winds and rained 3/4″ non stop. That water kept rising and I was really getting scared it was gonna go over the banks again at the Marina.
But luckily after moving the Van to higher ground along with all the other cars, it stayed put. I like it when the water stays in the marina and not on the road!
Well, the winterizing guy was supposed to come on the 16th but came the 17th.
At least that is done! Now for everything else on my checklist. Last year, I forgot to take the filters out of the water purifier and they exploded and the ends were at the bottom of the cabinet. They look like two perfectly round disks until I realized where they were from after the water spilled out of the bottom and all over the cabinets.
So now I remember to take them out.
I put all the food in the refrigerator and freezer So I’m ready to hit the road in the morning.
Heading the Michigan first for a Girl Camper camp out and some Sisters on the Fly friends. There’s some ladies there that fly fish. Lots of vintage campers.
I will be in my van. I like to Glamp!
I will try to be better about writing the blog.
Who knows? Maybe this year? I will start YouTube.
