North Mills River Campground is outside Asheville NC.
Well, it turned out I’m 2 days early! My reservation didn’t start till the 19th!
So I stayed at the Cracker Barrel in Arden NC next to the Asheville airport.
I don’t recommend it. Very noisy in in the midst of fires across the freeway.
Lots of drug dealing also.
But it was a quiet night!
Scary forest fires are crossed the freeway. This is a spin off of the Bear Mountain fire. The embers fly with the wind and ignite new fires.
