Jan 2 – 17 – That's What She Shed

Lots has happened since I got off the ship. I had broken my hand and left pinky finger to be exact while snorkeling.

So while I got the X ray of the toe, I got x rays of my left pinky also.

The doctor took a look at the x rays and decided it needed surgery with pins or possibly screws and a plate.

I’m not sure what they did, but they did it on the 13th.

Myra took me to the surgical center and let me recuperate for a few days.

I left Myra’s house on Tuesday and made it to Quartzsite.

Met up with Marlene, whom I camped with last year, and we set up camp. Myra will meet us on Wednesday in Quartzsite. My friend, Carolyn will also join us.

Armed with antibiotics and pain meds, I am a happy camper.

I will get the stitches out on the 23rd or 30th whenever the surgeon can fit me in. They don’t do their reports for 5 days after the surgery So I still don’t know what they did.

All I know is I have a claw for a left hand.
