This is surgery day. Got up at 5:00am, and Myra took me to the Surgical Center in Phoenix closer to Glendale.
We had to be there by 6:30am, and we always dread getting on that freeway. People drive so fast because they are all moving out of California and coming to Arizona.
But they still drive like they’re in California and very reckless, darting in and out of traffic and never using turns signals.
So she is a saint for taking me.
Surgery went well and I am loaded with lots of ice packs and drugs.
I’m using them sparingly because I don’t want to get addicted to these painkillers. Is very easy to do in this chaotic world.
I hope this is the last injury I ever have to go through.
I am looking forward to getting the screws out of the pinky finger, and hopefully, that will be the last time I walk in a hospital.

Happy trails.
