Our camping friend Mark who paraglides had a terrible accident while paragliding. Engine stalled and wind took him into a tree.
A branch entered his throat and he had to be helicoptered out to Goodyear AZ outside Phoenix. They did surgery and he ended up with 13 staples.
Palo Verde sticker tree. Nasty.
Thank God he is OK.
He packed up his parachute which he saved, extended the wind to check it and he said it is good to go.
