Travel Day to another campsite within the Caballo Lake State Park. NOT!!
The New Mexico State Park System kicked out all of the campers who had reservations to stay! They offered a refund but charged 5.00 cancellation fee! Argh
We had to find a campsite for 3 days on the fly!
So ended up at a rest area in Las Cruises NM after driving in a torrential downpour!
Had 20mph winds all night and didn’t even put slide out until night!
State parks had a lot of unhappy people!
