Nov. 15 – B-day in TN

Sunday. Travel Day. Checking out of Lovesick Blue cottage. Goodbye Hank!

This was a great a frame cabin with lots of memories of Hank Williams senior with all kinds of memorabilia like albums, sheet music and photos of his life which was short lived as he died at 29 on his way to a concert in Canton Ohio. I believe it was an auto accident.

Hank Williams Jr. was only 5 years old at the time. They named him Randall Hank Williams and his mother changed his name to Hank Williams Jr. after Dad died.

Molly and Peggy played the piano as his music books were in the piano bench. So we had a sing along saturdy night and birthday cake.

Can you tell I hate hiking?

It was a great birthday thank you Molly and Peggy!

Headed to Ocean Springs Mississippi 607 miles and 9 and a 1/2 hours but I love driving.

Happy trails.
