Yesterday went into Yuma to get mail.
Had to drive through the farmlands of Yuma. Drove past trucks with giant loads of cabbages. Smelled like driving through a giant salad.
They stand on a platform and this long truck carries workers over the rows of cabbages. Driver rides on top steering this long- armed monster. They bend over and throw them in these cages. Pretty cool to see.
Then they get bussed to another field.
These guys work hard! Think about what that cabbage goes through before it gets to your table. Thank a farm worker.
