Happy Earth Day everybody!
We planted 6 pine trees on the first Earth Day back in the 80s at my old house. Those pine trees got so big they were tearing up the foundation next to the house. So my son thought it was a good idea to cut them down.
We layed mulch in its place, but I did miss looking at those pines out the bedroom windows.
I planted a few more trees elsewhere in memoriam.
I had a bumper sticker on my jewellery Box in the sixties but said “Earth…Love it or Die.”
I still have that sticker and the jewelry Box. I’m old school.
