Nov. 8 – Monday – That's What She Shed

Left South Carolina for Florida. Need up in Georgia.

Beautiful state but getting thru Atlanta was a trip. I took the southern-most freeway 285 around to 85 South a ND it worked great. They are still terrible drivers zipping in and out of slowing traffic and making people slam their brakes on. Definitely a lesson in defensive driving!

Saw the sign on the freeway for FD Roosevelt SP and figured it would be s good place to put on my bucket list since I stayed st Lake Roosevelt in AZ I figured I would add Lake Deleanor to the list.

Beautiful drive in. Very friendly receptionist in the office waaaay up the hill! Sign at bottom said campground full but I continued on and finally got to the office. She said they had 3 for a van. It was my lucky day! Good days to check in are Mondays after weekenders all leave. I’m here until Thursday the 11th.
