Drive 3.5 hrs to Loafers Bend West in Whitney TX on Lake Whitney. Gorgeous view if Lake and nice campgrounds.
I got a tent site because it’s just me and you are allowed 1 vehicle. With my America the Beautiful Lifetime Pass it was $6.00 with a water hookup. No electricity which is fine as I have solar and a generator.
The branch with the pink ribbon is the one that almost took my AC out! I will look up when I leave Thursday.
Walked around the park. I am the only one here. Then walked to the shower house. Crazy shower head. They put it pointed down, next to the wall. Had no way to move it to center because it was a fixed pipe. So you had to get your head really close to the wall to catch the water. Ha
Saw one boat on the lake.
