Beautiful night. Had dinner with Emricks next door. Had great conversation, meal and met more neighbors! Karen and Tom. Was a really great time. Lots of laughs. Janie is quite the gardener.
Their son Bennet and girlfriend, Sydney were there and wanted to know about my 1976 trip on the Amtrak train for $176 for 14 days. I did it in 9 days because that was all the vacation I had at the time. 6 400 miles and 16 states. Was quite the adventure.
I guess they have another promotion this year for around $200. Go for it!

The 1976 train trip sounds interesting, and actually $176 sounds cheap now, but it was a lot more money then.
