Day 38 – Jan 8 Tuesday

They let us go a day early to the RTR to check in.

Lots of rigs And more coming in every hour.

It was held at the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) land called Scaddan Wash.

You can camp here any time for 14 days for free.

Did I mention I love Arizona?

Guy in the back pack is Bob Wells who started this 10 years ago. He worked in a Safeway grocery store for over 25 years and got laid off. And it up living in a cargo Van and realized he was a lot happier than living in a sticks and brick house.

I have a real nice Campsite among vans huge class A’s and tents.

Beautiful sunsets and sunrises and Rider is adjusting well.

This dog loves the sun!

Lots of classes are scheduled and it’s going to be a busy 2 weeks.

Large turnouts for all the classes.

More later… happy trails.

  1. Jan, love the update! I wondered where you were. We had our first real significant snowfall today in Central Ohio. It started around 9:00 a.m. and it hasn’t stopped yet. We will probably end up with 4 to 5 inches of snow. I know how much you miss it (NOT!!!).
What’s even weirder about this storm is that Northern Ohio, including Middle Bass and Port Clinton aren’t expected to get any snow from this storm.
