Mom passed away October 22nd 2016 when she was 90. Dad, her husband of 68 years, died ten weeks later of a broken heart.
To bury both your parents 10 weeks of each other was a daunting task.
My sister, Lynne, really stepped up and took care of all the medical bills, funeral arrangements and general cleanup. I was in charge of rounding up the old addresses of acquaintances. After it was over, she would go to Resurrection Cemetery and weed their gravesites. She is buried right under Mom and Dad. They are together again.
My Brother Bob, Thom and I will go and take turns cleaning up the gravestones. Happy to do it.
